In Indonesia, if you want to buy a Mercedes-Benz S500, you got two choice. If you want the one which assembled in Indonesia, you have to pay 277,846 USD. But if you want the one which imported from Germany, you have to pay... 374.243 USD.
Why?
Also, in here we also still got the W204 C-Class, which serves as a cheaper alternatives to the new C-Class. You also still can buy a C63 coupe with that 6.2 litre V8!
To make things even weirder, Mercedes also somehow still selling this old W212 in here. The only available choice for that thing was the E250 CGI, sold for a mere sniff of 83,517 USD. The new one with similar engine will set you back 86,011USD. You know, you could save some cash in old E-Class.
Mercedes Indonesia is weird.
